Louisa works as a Coach, Mindfulness Practitioner, Mentor, New Product Development Consultant & Designer
By combining her training, industry experience and personal creative practice she hopes to empower individuals through the coaching process to reach their full potential, whether for their personal journey, or through a creative project or business.
‘I have always been fascinated by the creative process, and have worked within the creative industries for over 30 years developing new product and projects. I believe change is a natural cycle of life and working positively with this energy allows us to harness the power of creativity for growth.
We can begin to imagine and develop new patterns of behaviour, and design different paths in life.’

Louisa has worked both as a designer maker and as an industry designer/product development consultant.
On graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1992 she established a workshop in London and was the first recipient of the Clerkenwell Green Association’s business start-up award; selling work to galleries and department stores such as Lesley Craze & Liberty’s
She also worked as a freelance New Product Development (NPD) consultant for the international costume jewellery brand Avon and at Wedgwood (Jewellery), being involved in all areas of the product development stages including research, product concepts, design, production, through to marketing.
In the mid 1990’s Louisa became design manager for the fashion jewellery brand Tateossian London, working on both the brand collections and bespoke ranges for clients such as Christian Dior, Hugo Boss, Prada , Neiman Marcus, Barneys New York and Liberty London.
In 1999 she was employed by the University of Central England (Jewellery Industry Innovation Centre) to research CAD software and rapid prototyping for new product development within the jewellery industry. This involved dissemination of knowledge and project management of ESF funded training for the industry. Also consultancy and project management for Birmingham City Councils Creative Industries Business Start-up programme Design Space 2000.
In 2005 Louisa worked with Holts Gems on the concepts and development of an innovative fine jewellery range, combining both traditional skills and new technology. Becoming the Creative Director of roque® in 2008, she was also responsible for the submission of the patent application, which was granted in 2012. The range won various awards including; Coutts New Jeweller Award 2008 and The Goldsmiths Design Award for Technical Innovation 2009. She also worked as a freelance designer & NPD specialist for companies in Birmingham during this time and to the present day.
Between 2016-18 she worked as a volunteer mentor on the product development element of the 'Setting Out' program at the Goldsmiths' Centre London. As a member of the Goldsmiths’ Company she continues to volunteer coaching and mentoring for business start-ups.
